7:30 and time for bed

All dressed up and nowhere to go but to sleep 

Magic works better with closed eyes

There is so much magic in the air: lights go on and off whenever Mommy and Daddy want. So much music, but nobody around playing any musical insturments. I could go on and on. And yet, when I turn my cup upside down, I can't get any water out of it. Even if I close my eyes and shake it really hard. 

Breakfast never tasted so good

I have been working on more solid foods. Lately I have been trying out some finger food. The cheerios are good, but so hard to get into my mouth. Luckily, they get sticky easily so its easy to keep a couple around for later.

 

The three bears get home from a walk

Daddy's shoes are too big. Baby's shoes are too small. Mommy's shoes are just right.

Where Mommy makes a funny face

Daddy just got back from Karate. Mommy tried to kiss him, and she made a funny face! Almost like this one.

Today, Daddy had his longest conversation with me yet. He is a little bit simple though. He just copied every sound I made. It was fun trying to trip him up with a bunch of different grunts -- but he managed to keep up with me just barely.

Today was my first taste of applesauce. I am not sure if I like it yet. But Mommy was very persistent and I finished off an entire bottle. Part of the fun of eating new food is making Mommy and Daddy work at putting it in my mouth. Today they tried the 'choo-choo' technique, but I resisted until they started making really funny faces to go along with the sound-effects. But then I had to laugh at them, and Mommy slipped the spoon into my mouth before I could close it again. Well, at least its not the peas. Commercial peas taste funny.
